Balderdash

We had a power outage during the winter snow storm that hit much of the midwest so my kids and I decided to dig out our old Balderdash game (I had to take a flashlight to the basement to find it). We have the old edition which is strictly definitions. Everyone takes turns being the “dasher” which is the person who knows the real definition of the word. The other players try to create a definition that sounds real enough that it will bluff the other players so they will choose it as the real meaning.

Needless to say, we had a blast. We were laughing so hard. My daughter even saved her made-up definitions ‘cos she thought they were so funny.
